I built Good Ash Co, and I smoke cigars.

I got tired of guessing whether a “sale” was actually a deal, so I built something that checks prices across the online retailers I actually buy from — it’s been running quietly in the background ever since, watching close to 25 sites, a few times a day.

This site is what grew out of that. Every price you see here is dated and sourced — I’ll tell you when something’s genuinely the lowest it’s been in months, and I won’t dress up a price that isn’t actually a deal just to have something to post. If a retailer we don’t get a commission from has the better price, that’s the one you’ll see first. Sorting by price, never by payout, is a rule I’ve made non-negotiable for myself, not a slogan.

The other half of this is a palate journal — log what you smoke, and get a read on your own taste over time, not just whatever’s being pushed hardest this week.
